Liberty and Learning
The new NSSAR Library and genealogy research center was dedicated at the Fall Leadership meeting. This is a giant step in the redirection of the SAR to be a noteworthy contributor for the educating of Americans about the War for Independence. The next phase is to complete The Center for Advancing America's Heritage (CAAH) which will house a museum about the causes, effects of, and the conclusion of the Revolutionary War resulting in the United States of America.
Our Ft. Scott Chapter would like to ask each member for a small donation.
We are asking each compatriot for a donation of at least $10. If you are able to do more that will gladly be accepted.
Please make checks payable to Fort Scott Chapter SAR and mail it to the following address by December 1, 2010:
Craig Hart
1117 East First Street
Fort Scott, Kansas 66701
Please denote "CAAH" on your check's memo line
Thank you!
